Does affiliate marketing really work?

Ever heard of self-fulfilling prophecies? You may be holding yourself back from success.
 
If you want to be successful, create your own product and get the other affiliates to promote it.

Wow, that is about as general as saying 'if you want to be successful, open a shop and sell products to people' or 'become a racing driver and drive around the track faster then the other people'. It's not that simple.
 
One key thing about making it at affiliate marketing is getting traffic to your site. Besides using PPC to advertise/promote your affiliate link, there's two free ways of getting traffic.1)SEO 2)Article Marketing. Another powerful method of bringing in massive traffic is by blogging. Search engines love blogs so that's good news for internet marketers.
 
It's all a scam, give up..

None of us are ACTUALLY making money.

Just kidding, stick at it, because if you give up you'll fail. You will not make money at first, I mean sometimes you will, but thats if you get lucky. You have to realize how high saturated the market is for the deals that are actually converting right now. Landing pages are big. It's all about experimenting your campaigns.

FYI: Please be advised that some people here are browsing the forum at their job (lunch hour). Although I know I'm new here and all, whoever posted message 408208 in this thread is indeed a fucking idiot, and if I feel like (and believe me, I do) it violates a rule, I have to report it. I don't want to sound very big, but this directly violates the WF 'code of conduct' so to speak (see 8 and 11).
