Do you still design for 800x600

Yup, I still design for 800x600. I like the way it looks and I haven't had the need to design any bigger yet.

I still have my screen set to 800x600. I find that the text is too hard to read at a higher res and it's not like I'm that old

It really annoys me when a site is too wide for my screen. Some of them, like download.com, can't even be used at my screen res becuase the left side of the site is somehow missing.

I'm still doing the "width: 780px;" thing and I actually like the way it looks on 1280x1024.

Still design for 800x600 screen resolution, some stats for one of my websites: still about 13% browses with 800x600, 15% 1280x1024, 57% 1024x768..

I hate how full width looks on very hi-res screens, like 1600px wide.
For big screens ~1000px wide is the best.

Or they live in russia or something, and they just dont have that many new computers. On which 800x600+ resolutions are suported. You shouldn't totally forget about them
