Another incredibly funny thought I just had is that all the Texans signing it are so stupid that they don't realize if they somehow succeeded with this, Obama will have been long gone from the White House by the time it actually happened. They're not going to draft and ratify a constitution, stand up a government, build an Army, circulate its own currency and all the thousands of other things they haven't considered... in less than 4 years.

Texas has the legal right to leave the US, all other states do not. It simply requires a popular vote and Texas is out.
