Excellent post! She basically had created a lost cat poster with her e-mail + picture.

And what industry is this? Glorified data entry clerk? Used car salesman?

SEO can't save your ass if you don't have a design that'll convert.

Is wickedfire a forum about used cars business? If you want I say yes, ok yes.
I mean online marketing.

At least no graphic designer can save our ass.

I do all graphic design in house and can manage excellently both Photoshop and Illustrator although I am mainly a developer. I have mastered graphic design in a matter of about 3 days.
If i am very busy can get all design i want on 99designs.com or GAF.

Most people who design for a living, never "master" it. At least all the great designers I know are continuously trying to get better at their craft. I agree that designers can often be self important, but you're going 180 with it and minimizing what it actually takes to produce great work that converts.

That is shocking news. Luckily I was sitting down when I read your email and not half way up a ladder or tree. How are you holding up? I am surprised you managed to attend work at all what with thinking about Missy out there cold, frightened and alone... possibly lying on the side of the road, her back legs squashed by a vehicle, calling out "Shannon, where are you?"

LMAO. She finally just breaks down and accepts the hat on the cat. Hahaha

(also link in OP's post is broken)

Isn't that true of most professions done in the freelancing sense?

Flash4ever is clearly superior to us all and such worldly rules and restrictions don't apply to him. I'd love to see some example work from a god like him.

Every pro in every sector has to "master" the tools.
"To master" means that you know what tool to use for every single task and how to use it.

I am not an artist neither a great designer but I master those tools.
This is enough for me.
