Oh no, why they terminate "SEO Grants"?

I like how Homeland Security and the TSA, both of which didn't used to exist, now get 7 times the amount of money as the FBI. The FBI at least has some type of proven track record of arresting terrorists and other bad guys.

That is US right now. A virus for the whole world. And it seems that they like it this way :)

Portugal on the other hand is a model state - what with being insolvent but too fuckin insignificant to even be mentioned along side the economic wonders of Greece and Spain.

I find it interesting they are still spending 348 million on something called "Former Soviet Union Threat Reduction". It would be interesting to have a similar graph set up showing just how much real overlap these departments have on each other. You could probably wipe out at least 1-2 massive departments and still have an agency to cover the job.

just found out Russia has a 13% income tax for individuals, 13% capital gains tax and 20% maximum corporate tax. that's it, i'm moving...

who would have ever guessed 50 years ago that Russia would be a real challenger to the US' economic superiority.

And now Russia is the official spacecrafts provider of NASA, unbelievable only 10 years ago.
