I have had a site hacked very recently, and it took my host and I a couple of days to totally stop it.
The hackers were using my server to DDOS financial institutions, and I got a call from a very unfriendly FBI agent.
But it obviously was not me. I was a victim too. Could this be the case?

A. Have beef with nanexo
Or
B. Have taken all nanexo's clients
Then yes, you could be a victim too.
LOL I think he meant that maybe nanexo has been hacked but no it seems that nanexo provides some SEO services as well and is trashing OP in his sales thread.

Anyone could have spoofed the ip as if it came from us. Not to mention yourself.
I would never use my own Server Ip, this is pure bait to destroy our reputation and you are failing hard at it.
Oh and why are your sites still down if it was me and you know which server it came from? Because this is not us. If you look at your sales thread you have scammed/failed a great many people and their losses are in the thousands because of your incompetence.

If the logs are correct then no in this case it's not a spoofed IP. The way an attack would work if an IP was spoofed with be a UDP or SYN flood and it wouldn't have been logged to the web stats. In order for the logging to occur the TCP 3 way handshake must be completed which is not possible by spoofing the source ip address in the header of the IP packet.
At nanexo: Do NOT make shady get involved again. Rumor is, the man's on vacation after tracking down bin Laden. But he might come back for this one.
