So every time I enter my password I just keep getting redirected to the log in page. Also after a few attempts I notice that the password in PHPmyAdmin has been changed back to the dirty indians password!
without seeing what is going on its too hard to tell what you are doing, why not just add a new user to the wp_users table and give it admin rights (just copy the settings from the hacked admin account if you dont know what fields to complete, obvously not using the hackers details) then login as the new user and delete the hackers account
