Which do you guys prefer when affiliate marketing? CPA or CPS :playboy_sml: CPA sounds easier but CPS has higher profit many factors to decide but what do you guys think? Which is better?

It really doesn't matter. What matter is that does the offer convert to your traffic. Some traffic buys expensive stuff with big commissions, some are more keen to submit their zip.
 
Yes , I can understand you are talking about Cost Per Sale. If you are an affiliate with amazon , eBay you have no option but to sale something for commission.Combine SEO and PPC and social media to drive traffic and it is not that hard to make money with CPS.The bid price is often very low in comparison to CPL campaign.
 
Let's look at it this way: if you've been running a lead-based offer for about a few weeks or even longer and the advertiser hasn't kicked you out yet, it means that your leads are converting nicely or at least good enough for the advertiser to be in profit (advertisers are not foolish enough to keep you on board if they're only losing money with your leads).

So if that's the case and if you can also get paid on a per-sale basis for the product in question, it's pretty obvious what you have to do.

Anyways, I really like doing CPA, easier to convert for the most part. Some people are awesome at sales though.
 
CPL is better to calculate for you as affiliate, but at the end of the month you´ll make more with CPS normally if you´ve quality traffic...
 
It does seem like the big boys make more off of CPS the CPA, although with a high volume of traffic, you can do well with CPA. In the long run, I do agree that CPS can make you more money, but you have to have good, targeted traffic. At least from what I see on my network.
 
This isn't talked about much, and I shouldn't even be bringing it up, but CPD has always worked the best for me.

I always make more money at CPD than CPM or CPC or EPC or PPC or SEO or SEM or ROI. In fact I make more by promoting CPD than SEO and CPM Combined!

All success internet guys use CPD.
