Hey there,

I'm curious whether anyone can tell me what the conversion rate for an affiliate site has been in their experience.

The deal is that I have a site with around 20 pages of related content, with banners promoting a health care related product, and the landing page is basically an article about the product with a link. The rest of the content is articles and other product reviews.

I've had around 60 hops in 2 days and no conversion. The reason why I'm asking this is because I want to know whether I need to work on more traffic(more traffic = bigger conversion) or I'm just doing something wrong, or maybe it's just variance.

Also, perhaps this might be helpful - in 60 hops, there are 32 order form impressions and no sale. I'm fairly new to Aff. marketing, and I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out.

Cheers.

Thanks.

conversion rate is based on several factors as traffic quality, amount of traffic, what product you are selling. Your aim should be to get more organic niche-relevant traffic and choose the right product.

I agree with you on that one - organic traffic is important, and I believe I really have that. But my biggest surprise is mainly concerning the order form impressions - the price is shown on both, my squeeze page as well as the product page, so why would you decide to cancel at the order form?

60 "hops" is not enough to get to conclusion.
In case your traffic is relevant to your product niche, you should give it couple more days.
If no conversion yet, try to change offer.
good luck !
