is anyone using a CMS for arbitrage sites? would this be adviseable or the complete wrong way to go?

Actually...

You can set up wordpress to function in this manner. You can essentially modify a template, remove any links that would leak visitors out from pages and just set up 'pages' for each site using it as an easy WYSIWYG cms.

Easy to manage, track, modify...not sure why someone would say it's a waste of time. If I could figure out how to make adsense beautifier pull relevant images I would be set.

Haven't removed the obvious leak and havent really finished closing up the main page but here's an example

And now with WP multiuser you can put them on subdomains as well

I think WPMU would be overkill.

You can just set up subdomains through cpanel to point to the blah.com/subdirectory/ instead.

I guess the only reason I would go for subdomains is personal preferance.
