I want to lock down some content, I've tried applying to CPAlead but they denied my application and didn't give a reason. Site is an celebrity image gallery (based on one celebrity) I want to lock 'mormon porn' of that celebrity. Site gets ~15,000 daily views and that page gets around ~1,000 naturally but obviously I can funnel a lot more traffic there if it can convert decently.

What are my options? I had it in my head that blamads offered some type of content locking, but I don't see anything in my control panel and my AM there doesn't reply to any emails even though they are constantly harassing me to send them traffic.

If people give me a few options, I'll be happy to split test it and then report back here with the findings.

Plug and play is best but if I have to do extra shit that is ok too, I guess.

Also merry christmas

I got denied by CPA lead, emailed them asking why and got approved straight away. They will take basically anyone, its a POS network.

why not use your own content locking script and use a regular cpa?

Because I assume that it has to be an incent CPA offer and I don't have the time or inclination to set up something like that at the moment, especially for the amount of traffic we are talking about. I'm happy for somebody else to take their 30-40% off the top and then set up my own shit down the track if it works out ok money wise.

I've part of blamads, I just don't see the option for content locking anywhere in my control panel.

Anybody else got any ideas?

There is,

Scroll down and look at your left, look for this link: Blam Ads Gateway

Then login etc.

Why are we now calling incentivized co-registration content locking?

Make your own fucking "content locker". Jesus Christ.

1. Find network who offers postback tracking
2. Add incentivized offers prior to content.
3. Wait for postback pixel to fire for the user (you should give them a unique id and pass it to the network.
4. Send them to the content once postback confirms a sale/lead.

It takes all of 30 minutes to make a "content locker" which is actually just a co-registration path... incent or no incent, that's up to you. If you're not willing to build out your own shit, you're going to be scraping up the scraps that those who are willing to work harder leave behind. Your ROI will not compete. Not to mention, you'll be competing against networks directly who have 30-50% higher payouts. Better find time to make it yourself... and I'm not just blowing smoke, I've been watching this scenario play out for 2 years now.

You really need to make about 3 phone calls to make it work.

Your Favorite Network

CPAlead doesn't allow adult content. I ran into the same issue, but they do have another company that does work with adult stuff. But the payouts are lower.
I forget what the name of their other company is, but you can email them about that.

you can try leadbolt or adscendmedia.. i was also rejected by CPA . but i apply again after a month and i got approved.

It's not actually adult content, what about bikini pictures would that be OK?

I've seen content gateways on pretty much everything out there... I've promoted them on YouTube videos, images, text, etc. Always saw pretty good results, but never saw how the advertisers make them work. I'm sure Eagle's got his shit down to a science, but don't do something dumb and get banned (placing over trademarked content/porn).

If you going to do locking, definitely go with Leadbolt. I tried them all and these guys are the only ones who dont give me issues. cpalead banned me and took away my money - damn them. I wasnt even doing anytihng wrong. The others just didnt give me a good returns. Dont try put a lock on yourself. Short term it may work but long term as offer need to change you will find problems and your earns will go down.
