.com domains where to registar?

lo there help an old fart out plz i live in the uk and usally buy just .co.uk domains but on the odd occasion i do buy .com domains but its costing me about a tenner (£10) for the year through 1and1 .co.uk the gits wont let me buy them through their .com site at a cheaper rate so stuff em .... so wheres a good place for someone like me in the uk to buy .com domains and prefabliy not have my details showing so i can stop that bleedin spam cheers Old Fart

have you tried all the big names like godaddy, yahoo(only mentioned because they are int'l.), etc.?

i resell thru godaddy (link in sig), and i've had canadians buy from me, don't know about uk tho.

namecheap. They aren't the cheapest ($8.88/year) but the extra money speant will save you a ton of headaches. Namecheap is by far the best registrar out there.

I currently use both Godaddy.com and Namecheap.com and they were both ok. They both work with international customers (I'm not american nor british) and offer a plenty of services. Namecheap has corrently some nice offers, like .info domains a $2.98 and free Whois privacy for every new domain registered or transferred. The price for -com domains is $8.88, but you can save $0.90 with the YAFFASPECIAL coupon.

Any luck with that (reselling with godaddy)? I have it too but mostly for the $400 adwords credits for doing some abritrage. I've yet to sell a single damn domain. Again, I didn't sign up thinking it would make money but just for the credits. I was just wondering if you made anything with it. Or if anyone else has, please feel free to chime in.
