W. Va is tougher than people give them credit for. Same with USF. Expect USF to start surprising a whole lot more teams in the years to come.

BTW, my Gamecocks beat Georgia between the hedges and after an easy win against SC State this weekend we face LSU in Baton Rouge. I'm not very optimistic, but I think we can give them a run for their money.

I have no doubt that we are a serious contender for the SEC East this year one way or the other. It will be interesting to watch Tennessee @ Florida this weekend to determine the true SEC strength of both teams.

BTW, we have the second hardest schedule in the country this year and some argue the hardest.

Prediction: 1 upset (Nebraska) , Cal and Oregon do not cover, UCLA covers by 20.

I'm no handicapper but I'd place money on at least 75% of my predictions if I was a betting man. :drinkup:

How about U...S....C...#1 and just silenced all the doubters in the land. Add Nebraska to the body count. Talent, talent, and more talent. Anybody see how big the running lanes were tonight?? Nebraska's D-line and LB's were blown off the field...Was priceless.

And a nice congratulations to Michigan for finally playing a little football...granted ND is a sorry excuse for a team (no TD's in 3 games..). Best stat of today's game: 33 rushes, -6 yards. Good job guys. It is quite possible that they will go 0-8, or at least 2-6 this year. What happened to them?

The shocked for the day was fUCLA getting their asses handed to them by Utah...44-6. O-V-E-R R-A-T-E-D....

I was counting on USC to win, but I didn't think it would be that ugly. And unfortunately Michigan won and now my Spartans have Notre Dame in ND next week. Great, ND will be pissed and beat us, that's all I need.

Looks like USC secured themselves a few more first place votes. LSU held their 2nd place strong. Florida moves up to 3rd (good win vs. Tenn - it was a dominant showing). Cal leaps over Texas! How do you like that? Oregon and Hawaii sneak a little further up the rankings.

This is a pretty wild college football season. I'm really enjoying watching most of the games; seems like every week someone is coming out and shocking a "sure thing". UCLA for instance, wtf? Ha ha.
 
Wouldn't worry 2 much about ND; they are PATHETIC. The talent levels r not there this year, and well, maybe they should bring in a really good defensive guru to help out with that no-defense they got going on over there. Weis is a good offensive coach, but defense is what wins bowl/BCS championship games for u and is what makes ur team anything worth anything.
