clearing your name when people dragging you through the mud

so, let me get this straight. The "exclusive" affiliate network (who we arent allowed to talk about) fucked you over and dragged your neck through the mud and then techcrunch did a bad article about you because you insulted arrintons golden retriever?

thats about what I can get from your post. without naming exact names, why dont you tell us exactly what happened.

I think you better be pretty honest with us all at this point because there is lots of talk that you are in fact Chris Desouza. If you are not Chris Desouza, then please come clean with a detailed explanation of EVERYTHING that happened.

After we read what happened and agree with your side of the story, then we can start to do some research on how to clear your name. mmk?

it's the fact I've had three independent contracts / contacts fall through as a result.

I've gone to setup a deal and out of the blue, no phone calls / emails are returned and if I can get a straight answer out of anyone it was: "I was told not to work with you" .. "by whom?" .. "can't say" .. like wtf?

I am far from a shady character and have no quarrels with putting my reputation on the line (obviously as I'm posting publicly about it). It's just cutting into my livelihood and frankly had wondered if any members of WF have had any similar experiences.

I think you need to be more clear about what happened.

You're asking for sympathy, but the way you put it, any intelligent person will know there is another side to the story. So we are wondering what it is. If you can't post it, then this thread shouldn't exist, as no-one here is going to jump to your side based on what you wrote.

I've done reputation management for SEO customers... particularly one that was being blackmailed, so I know a name can be dragged through the mud for no real good reason.

But as said before, if you are as experienced as you claim, you should know what to do.
