checking anchor text?

how do i know wether any incoming links to "mydomain.com" have the anchor text "widget" in them? if i was to check it on google, what kind of query should i use?

I was thinking allinurl:whatever anchor text that is what I thought it was for, but maybe not.

That'll happen if the page that your backlinks are on no longer exist.

The google command you're looking for is "link:yourdomain.com inanchor:keyword". But being that google only shows a small sample of your backlinks, it's not likely it will provide the info you're looking for.
