Wow, I had never even heard of this before. Definitely an interesting prospect. I'm sure someone could set up a business doing this mod for a decent fee.

so what's the advantage of this?

You don't have to switch out the SIM card when switching to a different network. Useful when you travel to other countries.

Hmm yeah I know some people who walk around with 2 phones because they travel between 2 countries all the time. good idea.
