not to rain on your parade bro. Canada has a few popular composers, but none of them have reached the same level of American and European greats.
This is true. When people think Canada they think "Beer" or "Igloos" not classical music. The only other composer up here that i can think of that comes close to Taylor's popularity is R. Murray Schafer, and that guy is old!
