Business based on PageRank services?

Ill keep it short.

WF community, do you think running a business that focuses on PageRank/backlink improvement services would be plausible?

Basically like beyond a backlink service. The service would not only provide backlinks but it would equate the services to results in PageRank improvements.

What do you say?

Honestly, pagerank is an e-penis in my opinion, maybe good for selling links but not really useful in any other way, totally overrated...although many people are crazy for it, so a service like this certainly sells.

Most of my clients have no idea what Pagerank is. If I can increase their sales and traffic they are happy.

I think people that know and care about Pagerank, probably would be able to improve it by them self.

I'd say if you can tie creating backlinks to traffic then you might have something to work with. The only problem is if they run an ad, they will sale they caused the spike in traffic. The client service business can be very difficult.

I think authority is what you should aim to increase, not PR. Unfortunately without some inside Google knowledge it might be a lot harder to measure.

Selling SEO or any internet stuff and guaranteeing results is kinda lame. I never guarantee results. But of course I usually hate having clients. So obviously I dont play well with others.

Isn't this what textlinkads etc already do? Except they don't specifically say they'll increase your PR.
