Haven't smoked in a while, but I had fallen in love with Gentlemen's THC Stick. Carry it in your pocket, no fuss, and the atomizer is a beast for such a small pen. After the atty broke in on day 2 it was pretty much like doing dabs, no joke.

Fuck yeah vape pens are the shit.

My G pen lasted less than a week. The wire was so thin that just removing the cylinder (to clean) and putting it back on was enough force to break it. I'll have to check out the micro one cause I do love some good bubble hash.

Roll up a little ball of wax/shatter and throw it on the screen. If you accidentally pack it too tight and clog the screen (as I've done numerous times), just hold a lighter close to the sides of the atty and melt it down enough to either get it to harden on one side or empty a bit out.

Never cleaned the inside, just outside using isopropyl, and the attys lasted 4-6 weeks of daily use, going through about 2g of wax per week. I'd toss them by 4 weeks myself, though, because some residue gets stuck down there and after a while it just starts tasting like crap - and the residue loses even its small amount of THC after a while. They're only $12, so if it starts tasting bad just toss and replace IMO.

And definitely check out that Gentlemen's brand THC stick I linked. Only $40 bucks for the pen + charger (it's 501 threaded, so you can even hook up the atty to a larger ecig battery and ecig charger and just buy a pack of atomizers instead of the whole set - in fact, I'd recommend just that because the battery it comes with lasts barely a day and the button doesn't lock). For me the atty would last >2months partly because I used it less - it produces strong dab-like hits, so I'd use the microG for continual puffing while working and the THC Stick when I was trying to get baked off my ass.

Damn, now I need to hit up the dispensary and re-up on some shatter :rasta:
 
Again want to recommend against buying pre-filled cartomizers from dispensary. Around Denver, at least, you pay $25 for a 1g cart that is 25% active THC (250mg) or $45 for 1g cart that is 50% (500mg), and the cartomizers aren't great + use a wick, likely a cheapo fiberglass wick.

And those prices are medical, recreational prices are even more.

One gram of decent quality shatter in my area runs $30 and is 75-80% active THC, guaranteed by my dispensary. You get more THC for your buck, and can use wickless atomizers. Taste the product not the wick (and no risk of inhaling even small amounts of burnt fiberglass or other materials).
 
They're charging $100 for the vape pen cartridges at the "legal" state weed stores, and they were sold out of them (mostly from tourists). The stores are a fucking joke in WA state, they sell grams for $30+ and you can't even see or smell it prior to buying, they come in a solid black baggy.

Meanwhile the dispensaries are charging $40 for the 1g and $25 for half gram. And sell weed starting at $5/gram.

Now the state is trying to get rid of dispensaries cause they're not in line with the taxable state stores.

I was about to buy a dozen cartridges for the holidays but now thinking I should just make it. From what I've read, you get food grade glycerine and add enough to thin your bho to a consistency it'll be absorbed by the wick. Any try making any yet?
 
Yeah I have. Not successful - the wick kept burning out on the atomizer. Putting this down to: the product was not 100% mixed to look at & the tank I used was not suitable as the wick is tiny. I diluted the extract with a PG:VG mix (used shop bought premixed 0% nicotine liquid) over heat. I did this by putting a shot glass into a water bath & stirring till dissolved.

If you decide to go down this route some people recommend using a slow cooker to integrate the extract over a longer period of time. Or a specialised liquid like Amazon.com: EJmix (50ml): Health & Personal Care which is designed for this purpose.

Others have reported success diluting the extract with ethanol before vaping - both vaping as is - or then added to a PG:VG mix. (Speaking of alcohol, a cleaner extract than wax Polishing extracts | Skunk Pharm Research LLC would likely mix/vape better. In terms of availability, the jury is out on decarbing the extract first Decarboxylation | Skunk Pharm Research LLC but that is also something I'd look into.)

Finally, in terms of tanks, apparently a lot of the dispensaries use the CE2/CE2 clearomizer series for their liquids. That Gentlemans vape posted by Matt above looks much better though, and there are alternative similar products on the market.

TL:DR - I recommend you buy some EJMix and a decent tank if you go the juice route. Or don't bother and just vape the extract as it is.

inb4 massive stoner. I just have too much time on my hands and am keen to stop smoking. Would have definitely cracked this by now too, if I could get hold of wax at all - or herb at the prices you can! (£10/g over here so please don't complain ;) )
 
Yeah I'll probably try that ejmix juice, I ordered a cheaper type to experiment with.

I finally got into a private medical group with growers selling dank for $100-$150/oz and bho for $600/oz or less, and there are people that do processing to make hash or bho from your bud or shake.

This is $150 oz.

I ended up stocking up, bought 14 ounces with 8 strains from 3 growers $125-$150/ounce and still waiting on 2 more. The exchanges take place at malls or shopping centers in whatever city you're meeting. Very awesome dudes growing it.

WA law allows you to have 1.5 lbs of buds in possession if you have a medical card.

Any ideas on ranking local marijuana businesses in states where recreational is legal? Can't imagine adwords lets you promote herb with it still federally illegal...

The plus side is there isn't much competition for mj businesses in this niche.

Just good old fashioned link building/social accounts/search engine submissions/craigslist? Printed flyers/classifieds and shit to.

how do you guys still get high off bud after hitting concentrates?

even if i hit concentrates for 1 day ill be noticeably less baked than if i didnt hit a dab the day before. if i take dabs 3 days in a row i pretty much wont even get baked off weed till my tolly lowers.

Tolerance breaks, basically. I hadn't smoked wax in months before buying that bud from a nearby recreational shop.
