what's up with the smart ass questions? It was a perfectly legit query.. You should analyze your average cost per subscriber (comparing CPM here) with other traffic sources.
MORE IMPORTANTLY, YOU SHOULD TRACK THE AVERAGE REVENUE PER SUBSCRIBER FROM THIS TRAFFIC SOURCE.
If ppc gives you $5/subscriber in revenues and PPV is giving you $2/subscriber (or vice versa), obviously it's not the way to go.
You are probably smarter than half of the smart asses making fun of you because you've got sense enough to know what the affiliate networks do - the real money is in buying leads not selling them......
Leads bought once bring traffic ad infinitum, PPC, PPV, etc traffic needs to be bought over and over again...

ps....if you've got money to spend why not just buy the leads out right? check out arcamax, leadpile, reg ready, optin intelligence, etc
