Excuse this newbs ignorance but: I’ve noticed in my niche that a lot of the other players are collecting emails instead of showing users ads, also I’ve seen a lot of you PPC guys doing this but It never really made sense to me. I mean if I have an offer I want to send people to why not just put it right there on my website instead of getting people to jump through hoops to get to it?
Main reason I can think of for doing it is that you’re not seen as a thin affiliate by big G i.e. you’re not redirecting the user anywhere else when they land on your site, all the hard sell comes later in a private email. Is this newb missing something crucial?
