Breaking Bad Series Premier *SPOILERS*

My main uncertainty now is over whether it's jesse or skylar that kill Walt. I do think Jesse has to survive though, and Flynn has to die in terms of Walt being punished for everything he has done, and coming full circle on the irony of him setting out to protect his family [also presents a good reason for Skylar finally going through with the murder she has contemplated for so long]. They're not going to kill the baby (not developed as a character), or Skylar (as Skylar and Walt aren't particularly enamoured with each other anymore anyway).

I think elliot/gretchen will be fine, as he wouldn't need the firepower he has at the beginning of the series to deal with them. Potentially could be related to the Ricin, but I think it's more likely the Ricin is to get Lydia. He's just full on ragemode and wants all of the nazis, todd and lydia dead. One or more of them is going to get away, take Skylar/Flynn & the family hostage in the process, Flynn will get killed, and Skylar takes out Walt. Jesse could quite easily be involved in rescuing Walt's family though, and kill Walt himself.

I'm more than prepared to be (most likely) wrong in every which way imaginable though, and the scenario above is hardly a typical american tv series ending...

Karma would (TV karma). He poisoned a child, he manipulated everyone around him, he killed people. He went from selfless to selfish. As much as I've rooted for him, rationalized right along with him, hoped that he would get away with it all and get to keep his barrels of money and move to Costa Rica I don't think it's going to go down like that.

I don't think he'll go to jail, I don't think he'll get a quick bullet to the head, I think something will happen that will cancel out all of his justifications for what he has done. The whole series he talked about family, how he was doing it all for his family right? He loses his son, a pure moral character in a series full of criminal minds, and his house of cards comes crashing down. Then he kills himself maybe.

Yah, I think he's going to die, too. Just wasn't sure what you meant when you said he was going to be punished.
 
What if: it's all a dream Walt's having? While in a coma, from some injury or even drug induced to control the pain of the cancer treatments: The TV is on in the background of his hospital room while friends and family sit with him. His brain takes in parts of news stories, makes him the main character, and fabricates the entire reality that we've been witness to.

Hmmmm.....

Uncle Jack and Todd die in some kind of firefight with Walt. Walt let's Jesse live and Jesse runs away from the firefight to never be heard from again. However, I don't think Walt knows how to operate a gun, let alone an assault rifle. He even asks if it came with instructions during the flashback at the beginning of S05E01.

Gretchen and Elliot die, maybe from the ricin.

Skylar, Flynn and the baby live and keep the money Uncle Jack and Todd stole.

Walt somehow gets caught up and goes to jail and dies in there from cancer.

We'll see tho. You never know with this show!
 
FINAL SCENE :
"Walt" wakes up with a start in a hospital bed. His middle son, Malcolm, tells him that he's been in a coma or 2 weeks after eating blue Pop Rocks that were 'accidentally' sprayed with insecticide by his older brother, Reese.

Cue laugh track. Fade to black. Run credits.

This would be out of character, Walt views Jesse as responsible for Hank's death, as shown by the outburst about Jane. If Walt gets his hands on Jesse, he dies.

How does he get access? I saw the Gretchen/Elliot thing largely as symbolic. It stopped him from giving up. He has more pressing issues. I.e. killing the people who stole his "life's work".

Just doesn't feel in line with the way the show's been going. Skylar/Jesse have to get their revenge on Walt somehow, yet Walt still needs to be punished.

Dude, it was just a guess. Obviously I had no clue how it was going to end so I made a guess. It's probably the hardest show on televisions to figure out what would happen next, all the way from the very first episode. Jeez... However, my guesses were pretty close.
 
I fucking hated the ending! Walt dies wtf? And how can jessie live after violating the fundamental rule of the streets? NO SNITCHING! At least those nazi's got it and that bitch uptime chick too...
