WHY THE FUCK IS IT TAKING SO LONG TO LOAD MY SITE on BLUESHOST? Or am I just that shitty of a webmaster? Any insight you guys might have would be great. In can't have this issue on my next project. Fuck it...why don't you just tell me where your hosting and why! PLEASE and thanks you awesome fucks.

go get on a vps, and get off shared. I have VPS's at knownhost and liquid web both running good. Linode is great as well i've heard.

afaik bluehost/hostmonster is not ownerd by EIG

by the way is well known that they (bluehost/hostmonster) oversell their servers a lot. I don't mean that overselling is wrong, if done correctly there's nothing bad (see, hostgator does it in an excellent way)

I had a chance to work on a site of a customer on bluehost less than a month ago, and often it was really slow to load, I tried to load it now, same thing.

By the way I have to admit EIG isn't that bad, I was a customer of powweb some years ago and I was running a proxy, I had some 40k pageviews days and I didn't even get a high usage notice.

that just the year 1 price, and actuallly you can get decent shared howsing for that price, downtownhost is $40 a year with a end2009 discount coupon for year1 and the speed is great.

I didn't know about this
by the way I just run a traceroute to a domain hosted by bluehost and it takes a different route that doesn't go to EIG

disregarding who owns the company, the sites hosted there are slow to load
