Hi everyone! :smilie_weihn_winki:

So, I'm a n00b :) I'm trying to follow Nickycakes' Newbie guide. Just 2 weeks ago got into Neverblue, A4D, Revolution202, and having a hard time trying to figure out how to get people buy stuff these networks offer. I'm trying to avoid shady offers and stick with funny ones like ringtones and dating.

I have 1 GB hosting account with PHP and stuff, and can write HTML/CSS/JS/PHP/SQL by hand (I'm a geek actually). I set up Prosper202 but don't have any website in English.

I ran a couple of AdCenter ads and a couple of Facebook ads, got a couple of clicks (very low CTR), and zero sales. :sadcrying4:

In Soviet Russia, your job has you :) So, my budget is kinda limited. I can only spend something like $50/month, or less, on marketing. That sucks. So I really can't shoot in the dark, I mean, running $500 PPC campaign on broad match and then see which words convert better, or stuff like that.

So, my question to the Super Mega Pro Awesome Affiliates is:

:1zhelp: What is the best use for the $50?

What should I buy? What I shouldn't buy? Do I need some software? Some book? Some membership? Anything?

Or just continue punching long-tail, low-CPC AdCenter ads until something hits?

Any comments highly appreciated.

Better lend me your time machine if you're still in Soviet Russia.

P.S. It's better to buy some beer, than spend $50 on PPC. PM me, I will recommend you what to study and supply you with necessary courses.

Plenty of vouchers around to start testing on. Adwords, YSM, MSN, Facebook, Myspace etc. Test with the vochers across the networks and if you have something crazy profitable I guess just get a credit card and run as big as you can.

Spend the money on a training program, then find vouchers for advertising networks to use!

Thanks guys! I recently got 4 conversions, $6 each, totaling $24, while the clicks cost $11. I'm happy :)

You're right about the coupons, I just discovered them, and it's fantastic! I wonder why in the world people sell'em?

You can only use them on new accounts so unless you make duplicate accounts they are useless beyond the first one.

Which training program will get me my moneys worth..

Most just offer the basics, some will give you advance tactics. But none offer the whole package. thats part of the upsell.

Then the software they use is a whole other story..

What training program is worth it?

Seriously, if you can only afford $50/month... Cough up another $20, then get yourself some hosting and set up 3 mini sites.

If you are broke and do not have money to experiment with, go with either Amazon or Clickbank. I know there are better and easier/quicker ways to make money, but with those two (especially Amazon) you practically cannot fail, while most other ways of making monies online require a slightly bigger budget.

Contact Red_Virus and negotiate a bulk (3 lol) deal for 3x100 bookmarks, $60+- should do the job.

Sit back and watch the change come pouring in. Update your sites a little from time to time. Learn about link building and create a few link wheels or something to get some long term backlinks to your sites.

Repeat this process every month for 12 months and I can guarantee you'll be more successful at making the moniez than 99% of all other newbies who come here, read read read and never start doing.

This is how much you'll make:

month 1: $16
month 2: $32
month 3: $48
...
month 6: $96 (get your first check yey!)
...
month 12: $200+ (should be able to hit $600 or so with a little luck)

Not a whole lot, but better something than nothing eh. You can also scale this a little with your profits starting from month six.

This is also a bare minimum you'll make. There is a very good chance that you'll find a niche/product that sells sells sells and makes $100-300/month per site.

Thanks for the advice pal! So you basically mean I should get organic traffic, if can't afford PPC one? I also thought about this. But I can't come up with a good idea! Looks like every aspect of everything is already covered in English. What would I write to attract people?

BTW I already have 1 GB hosting with PHP, MySQL and stuff.

Good work.

Yeah, I was pretty excited about it when they appeared :)
Now that they are there for a week and no increase, it ain't cool :(
I just can't understand Facebook logic. Impossible to predict anything. No clicks... no clicks... 50 clicks! no clicks... no clicks... etc.

Vlad - I can call you Vlad right? Unfortunately you are not going to spend enough to get enough data/impressions/clicks to understand FB traffic. Keep plugging away though. You have done the hardest thing already which is to start. Keep doing something. Learning, reading, asking questions.

SEO sounds like the logical place to start with little to know budget.
