I've done business with 14thstreetcat for a couple years now, in some form or another. He hit me up a couple hours ago asking if I'd review this for him. I usually turn down review requests because they're not worth my time but considering who it was, I had to take a deeper look.

Holy shit. My jaw literally hit the floor.

Anchored dofollow PR7 link. On one of the most natural looking pages you'll ever see. These sites aren't built for SEO, they're built for users. My link blends into the format nicely so it doesn't look like a paid link, yet it will get traffic (Cat told me a guy yesterday got 891 click throughs in 24 hours, can you say authority traffic?).

Inbound PR links very similar to what Zingo posted above so I won't clog up the tubes by repeating it, only goddamn there's some amazing sites linking INTO this site. And no little amount of them.

Almost 2 million inbound links on almost 20k unique domains, according to ahrefs. Majestic numbers are similar. And then there's the trust and citation factors to consider.

Used a fairly new site with minimal (like ten high quality manual web 2.0s) existing linkbuilding, currently doesn't rank for anything, will update traffic and ranking movement as I see them over the next days/weeks. Anybody has more questions that I didn't cover, if I can answer them without sacrificing integrity of link sources, be glad to.

Thanks, Cat! My current favorite best link ever is a PR8 on the home page of a major .gov site, this is in contention with that for sure.
 
My pleasure Grind. And there you have it. Some of these sites have been around for over 15 years, and these are publishing sites that people would KILL to post a link on. Quite simply, there aren't many sites in the world like this, so you do get what you pay for, for sure.
