I have about 150 domains on Namecheap, I don't buy/sell domains I just have a lot of them redirected to different offers straight from the Namecheap control panel. It's been alright so far but yesterday their site (and all of my domains) went down and I lost about half of my daily revenue. I didn't even realize it until I got home that night and saw I had been sending traffic to blank pages.

The best fix would probably be to just transfer all the DNS's to my own server and have the redirects work from there, but it's such a pain in the ass to set them all up, and Namecheap's control panel makes it very easy to set up hundreds of links in just a couple of minutes and to change them in seconds whenever you need to. Are there any better companies than Namecheap that can do the same thing, but that are faster and don't crash?

If this is the first time it's happened, then a bit extreme to transfer all domains.

I've used namecheap with no problems at all for over 100 domains.

Also used fasthosts - no problems as well.

GoDaddy's control panel is a bit clunky and slow.

Anybody but GoDaddy.

Why does everyone hate on godaddy? I've had some of my sites hosted there for years, just because im too lazy to move them.. never had an issue, super fast hosting, if you understand the CP its easy... is it just cuz they have that stupid ass racing team?

+1 for Namecheap.

I fucking hate GoDaddy, they raped me for several hundred dollars a few years ago. Then rather than refund, when they admitted they'd fucked up, they gave me credit, which about 6 months later they 'removed' the credit than denied me ever having it. That isn't all they've done to me either, they are hateful, hateful, hateful shady cheating cunts. I'd rather cut my cock off and buy web hosting with 1and1 than trust them with anything even close to being of value.

I use Netfirms as a domain registrar. It's not the cheapest option, but you get free privacy on all domains, so the overall cost is lower in that sense.

I've also used their shared hosting and it sucked, I had trouble with slow load times on websites.

Moniker... All about the service there. You can pick up the phone and talk to the CEO if you wanted to... They cater to domainers but if you have a handful of domains, they treat you well.

Namecheap all the way for me.

Do some research on how they do business and tell me if you want to support that company.

Right now I have the majority of mine at Monikor. I have tried some of the others, and was just not as happy.

Namecheap is great no upsells or shit like that when you have to renew
godaddy=ok

OP you might want to try domaincheapsters(dot)com
cheap as namecheap without upsells when you have to renew like godaddy

If you have that much tied into DNS management, I'd suggest dnsmadeeasy.com - I use them for the company I work at (Net admin, not web stuff) and they offer DDNS as well as multi-redundancy including multiple off-site locations. I don't think it's incredibly expensive and very easy to manage. You probably could pay for a year with the money you just lost.

Best registrar I've ever used is Domain Monster. Fast, efficient and great customer service. ;)

I used to be with 1&1 Internet. Never again! :angryfire:
