THE TWO MOST IMPORTANT RULES I HAVE FOR AFFILIATE MARKETING

I only recommend products as an affiliate that I’m extremely very familiar with – preferably products that I’ve used before and have helped me achieve something. If I’m not confident in the product and I don’t feel it will positively help people, I will not promote it.

I never directly tell anyone to buy a product. I always recommend products based on my experience and in the context of what I’ve done or what I’m doing.

Well for me it just depends on how you generate the traffic.

If its a website, you control, a couple options:

1. Setup an adserver on your website. And test your own affiliate campaigns, i.e banners, landers, offers, etc.

2. Setup a CPC or CPM program similar to adsense. But I wouldnt use adsense Id use Taboola, or RevContent instead.

If its an email list:

1. MAIL MAIL MAIL, and test different offers, email templates, etc.

There are a lot of CPC affiliate programs out there that you can use. But with that amount of traffic and the broadness of sports niche, I would have to agree with some of the replies and suggest that you use Amazon or Google Adsense. The Amazon Affiliate program has many different marketing strategies that can help you.

Amazon for me is still the best. They are still the number 1 in terms of conversions because it is trusted. Goodluck!

Hello there! I suppose you out OfferDaddy. I heard they can customize their affiliate offers so it will correspond to your niche...:)
