ASW/Vegas usually better than ASE. ADTECH is not good for affiliate.
Affcon, there are several threads here, its very small.

ASW is probably the best to go to.. Mainly for all the parties :) ASE is definitely worth going to as well.. AdTech's are great places to go for traffic sources, so it really all depends what you're going for ;)

I'd stay away from AffCon unless it's in your hometown.

I'm heading to ASE in New York in a few months. Gotta buy some drinks for a few kick ass members here that have given me some good advice.

Ad-Tech SF, ASE and ASW are definitely worth attending. Ad-Tech NY is solid too but its only a couple of months after ASE (which is also in NY this year) so the two might be too close together. I'm checking out Ad-Tech London this year but I heard that's a good one.

I'd lay it out like this.

Year 1 in the business stick with Affiliate Summit's. If you want to know which is the best I'd go to Vegas if you have to chose.

Year 2+ make sure you go to adtech. Adtech is great for new traffic sources and learning more about the offers backends you're running. If you eventually want to run your own offer adtech is great for meeting all kind of peeps that are advertisers and traffic sources.

Everything else you can do some networking at and honestly I think you get out of any show what you expect to get out of it. Affiliate Convention in LA sucked hot sweaty donkey balls. Like 15 exhibitors..... but I met 4-5 great people there that I've continued to do business with since the show.

I find a lot of affiliates go to shows and are looking for one specific thing and if they don't find it the show sucked. Go to shows with an open mind as an experience to learn and meet as many people as you can. Because whether you need to know them now or not you might need to in the future.

Bingo.

Ad Tech London sucks now, don't bother. I'd say the same for A4UExpo if you looked at that. ASW is definitely the best show for business.

Ad Tech overall has lost a lot of its "have to be there" marker. It's not what it used to be.
