Bell Service Technicians...

I was upgrading my net from 3mbps today at my office. The Bell tech walks in, installs the new modem and then tries to leave.

I run a speed test and see that I'm still getting 3, so I flag him down in the parking lot.

I ask him why it's still running at 3mbps and he says... no joke...

"Once the packets hit the internet and go to Denver, we can't be held responsible."

...

So I make him surrender his special bell cell phone and talk to his boss. The boss says, " oh I have to change that on my end. Were you supposed to get the 10, 16, or 22?"


So now I'm downloading at 2 megs a sec.

I see from your profile that your location is "pineapple under the sea" and you mentioned Denver in your post, but where did this take place? If you don't want to be specific can you point us to the US state? Just curious since I deal with Bell a lot. Thanks.
