Beer meetup during ASW?



BigWill - It seems like a number of people will probably be at the A4D party - I plan to be there, as long as my AM responds to my email... I'm not really at any ballin' status with A4D, but hopefully my AM will let me in on the details.

If that is the case, it's definitely worth figuring out another day or time for a beer meetup. So much to do, so little time.
 
Beer meetup? I was under the impression that the whole thing was to be about beer. Shouldn't we have a non-beer meetup?
 
i'm guessing there just won't be a day that works for everyone. one option would be to make it an informal multi-day thing:

Sun 8:00 -> whenever
Mon 8:00 -> whenever

then people can stop by the yardhouse (or just a bar @the Rio for convenience) when they can
 
Canadian Aff Meetup on Sunday

There is also a Canadian Aff Meetup on Sunday from 8:30 - 9:30 pm at the RIO i-bar, for those of you with Canuck Passports. I'll be hitting this one before the night really gets started and I hope to see some of you there.
 
Yeah our party is on Sunday. But unfortunately could only hold 150 people at the Spearmint Rhino. It's from 8-12pm on Sunday and we filled it in 1 day without even making it public at all which sucks. So it would be great to have this Saturday or Monday because I'd love to attend.

if the a4d party is full I definitely want to make it to this. hanging out with people from wf was my favorite part of the last ASE
 
If any large number of guys are gonna do the YH, it might be good to do it before the other conferences/traffic starts coming in, like around 4pm-7pm. That way you know you have plenty of space and can dominate the place!
 
Well if Sunday and Tuesday are ruled out then I vote for Saturday (earlier in the evening).

Monday has a few other parties on including the T202 one.
 
I vote for Saturday night, say, 8 or 9 pm to start.

Most people are getting in early, but the late start will give those flying in late in the afternoon a chance to get their room and put down their bags before running off.
