The Genie wants to hear from YOU (Again)!

It has been almost 9 months since our last suggest a feature contest and we have implemented so many new features since then we feel that it is time for round 2!!!

So help us improve the best link building service and get free stuff!!!

You spoke and we listened. Here are some of the previously suggested features that have been implemented.

  • Binding urls to anchors for comment and profile projects

  • Content scrapers – Article, image, and videos

  • The best spinner API tie in.

  • TinyMCE wysiwyg editor

  • New projects book marking and private network blog posts

  • Increased many projects daily delivery

  • Lower priced packages and lower premium price

  • Groups to organize your projects

  • API’s to link crawling services

  • New multi tiered projects that run multiple projects per day

  • Cleaner project set up forms that step you through the process.


Here are a few features in development already that may help you come up with some ideas of your own.

  • Download reports from a date range into one txt file.

  • Add your own custom text to profile signatures

  • Increasing web 2.0 daily amount (by a lot!!)

Here are a few ideas that we are contemplating.

  • White label reports that get sent out via email to your clients

  • Built in rank tracker

  • A fully automated multi tiered project. Enter a url and a keyword and the system does the rest setting it up.


Rules:
Simply tell us what you would like to have BLG do for you by posting your suggestions by posting below in our thread. You can suggest a new project type or a new feature to our existing projects. You can submit more than one suggestion but put them in separate posts. Each post will be considered one suggestion. Nothing crazy or ridiculous like I want a million backlinks for $1.
The more detailed the suggestion the better your chances of winning will be.

Post must be made by Friday October 21st. We will announce the winners on Monday the 23rd.

Fine print and crap. Judging and Selection of Winners. Entries will be judged by a panel of BLG employees. Decisions of the judges are final and binding. In the event there are not enough eligible entries, not all prizes will be awarded. If a winner is not able for whatever reason to accept his or her prize, then BLG reserves the right to award the prize to another Entrant. Current BLG customers are eligible to participate and will be awarded additional accounts.
 
I have a couple ideas, but keep in mind I've never used your service before. You may already have these implemented.

1. Automatically link to authority sites (whether niche specific or Wikipedia-type) in web 2.0's and article directories.
 
2. Use bold tags and headers to emphasize the targeted keywords in web 2.0's and article directories.
 
3. Change the signature in article directories depending on which keyword is being targeted.

It looks like you guys have a really great service and I've heard lots of good things about it!
 
While I know the contest is over, I had one more suggestion after watching the video:

Add a button or option to automatically resize scraped images to a reasonable size rather than making the user manually resize it.
 
suggestion: Please get the 4 day and 5 day projects up and running. They look awesome. Loving the teenie genie and magic carpet already.

The 4 day Aladdin project will be out very soon we are working on it now. Should be this week or early next week :) Heaping mess of other updates are all about to be released very soon.

Keep the ideas coming and we will get on them!
 
Contest over?

Just saw the thread today. Your service is different from other automated services because of the diversity you provide in link building. So thats how you can make your service even better.

Something else you can add to make your service more diverse is adding wiki links. Shouldn't be too hard. Just have some scripts of a few wiki platforms and you should be able to post on hundreds of different wiki sites. Also offering more social bookmarks than 100.

Adding on to this, Moodle-type ticketing systems would be useful as well.
 
I just spent a ton of time trying to figure out why BLG was saying that the title of my web 2.0 project contained illegal characters. I finally fixed it by removing a comma. If the "," is in fact an illegal character can you add it to the list of illegal characters in the notes?
 
Got the premium package. Looks like the menu has been changed around. Can you invite me to the skype group for BLG?

I can't find any basic tutorials on how to use it. It's only asking for anchors and not the URL it should point to and I can't find the format to make the anchors URL specific.

How do I do this?
 
Sorry Guys I just realized that since this is a new thread I was not being updated when there were replies. This new thread every 10 days will take some getting used to. (Hope they do away with it soon though)

I'll look into this and will make sure if it is an illegal character that it will be added to the list.

You would enter in your urls and anchors like this.

www.crap.com/blueturd.php{blue turd|turd blue|eww a blue turd}
www.crap.com/redturd.php{red turd|turd red |ouch a red turd}

Just put the url with the anchors in braces after the url. One per line.

The Genie's Profile links have been given extra power! And the Private Network Blog Posts are now feeling the power of Twitter.


Update 1.
We have updated our profile project set up form so that you can now include your custom text before and after your link. Adding this text ads unique content to the signature and helps it stand out. This increases the stickiness of the profile as well as increases the index rate.

Update 2.
BackLinks Genie Profile Login (BLGPL) is now available for you to download. You can use this new script to log into the profiles from your xrumer and profile link wheel projects. This will greatly increase the crawl rate since logged in accounts show up on most forum homepages.

Update 3.
All posts on our private network are now tweeted on twitter. This automatically ads another level of links to your site and will help get the posts noticed!



We have a few behind the scenes update rolling out very soon that will update the web 2.0 and social bookmark project types. So stay tuned!!
