My Original Post: “Anyone here had one?
Without going too in depth,
I am weighing the good vs. the bad of a B complex injection...
Wondering if any of you have done it, and especially curious if any of you have done it yourself, or purchased it yourself (Mexico, Canada, Internet, anywhere that isn't the US)
Let me know... If you HAVE done it, do you know all of the ingredients in the particular formula you had? I'd like to compare what I have here with what someone else has taken, and compare the experience...”
Post #3, #6 and #7 all referred to “weight loss”, so apparently people thought I was trying to lose weight, or better my health… I was simply trying to find an energy boost. Some people have a beer or hit the bong to relax, I am looking for something to help me un-relax. (And although you did kindly suggest meth, I have a hard time seeing a logical half-brained comparison of Methamphetamine and Vitamin B in the same light I guess)
So, in an attempt to put things back on track, I posted the following in post #8:
“lol
I have heard of them being used for weight loss purposes,
but that is far from my use.
I was just
wondering if anyone had tried it minus a prescription... There is a
50/50 debate on the effects of B complex on fatigue. Im 22, 6'0, 185lbs, and I have the energy and physical drive of a 72 year old...
Im always tired
. I quit all my bad habits, even fast food, but it still remains... It isnt like, SEVERE, but Im just lazy as shit physically sometimes
... Figured maybe I'd give it a try...
I self medicate, but only when needed. Mainly due to a lack of health insurance.
Anyways, Ive got a killer deal on B complex, and I was j/w if anyone here takes B complex injections often, and if so, if I could compare ingredients...”
So there is my second attempt to gather information on B12, and to sway attention away from any other topic. I even said I quit all my bad habits, so the direction of the thread wouldn’t turn to “Omg, Look at all the shit he does to his body”. I failed.
You followed up by stating that “I get one every month. I go to a diet doctor, specifically a bariatrics specialist
. I go there not to lose weight, but to make sure my weight stays where it is (I'm 5'6, 123 lbs.). I get nutritional counseling, vitamins, and a B-12 shot.” What is it with all you guys and losing weight? Lol
That post was followed by numerous suggestions from members stating that I should try Exercise, Caffeine, and Green Tea. These are legit answers, as they do touch on the original topic. Energy, and how to get more.
Id like to point out that in post #14, RockDiesel said “…provides greater weight loss benefits if that is what you are after…” …Really? Again? Lol (I still appreciate the suggestions though RockDiesel!)
I followed up with post #16: “I
do take a multi-vitamin, err, more than one, but I just started, so I have yet to notice any effects. My grandma sends me like $100 worth of vitamins every month, with the usual "Please take these honey, I worry about your diet and stress, and you need to stay healthy" lol. Grandma rocks.
As for diet, my diet is terrible. I eat fast food most of the time, and have done so for the last 10 years of my life. 75% of those 10 years has been spent eating 1 fast food meal per day, and filling the rest of my intake with mountain dew... I drink 2-4 liters of dew per day. I quit smoking, I quit chewing, I quit drugs and I quit drinking, but I can't for the life of me quit the dew. Ive tried.
That covers the caffeine part.
As for excersize,
I really do need to do more. But I am so fucking lethargic that I can't imagine doing anything that takes physical energy. I want to, the drive is there, but when it comes down to it, my body talks me out of it. I live in a 3rd story apartment, and have now for 5 months, and I still feel like im going to die every single time i climb the stairs... My gf makes fun of me.
On top of that, I just got out of the hospital 45 minutes ago... I got these really sharp intense pains in my chest, right where my heart was... Then my left arm started to hurt really bad, then my left arm went completely numb. So, I went to the ER. Did an EKG, Xray, full bloodwork, and they found nothing. Told me I damaged the muscle tissue between my heart and rib cage, but I think thats bullshit. I could feel my heart struggling to pump what felt like tar through my veins.
So maybe this is where I finally push myself to use those brand new Adidas running shoes I bought 5 months ago and haven't even tried on yet...”
Ok, I said that my diet was/is horrible. Maybe I was a bit confusing there, I’ll take that one. What I meant was that my diet, overall, has been horrible my entire life. I lived like a college student, and not a vegan hippie northern California one. (Apologies to all NorCal Vegans in here)
When I touched base on the exercise, I said I am lethargic. I am not actually medically lethargic. I just get physically tired and lazy. My lack of sleep (I average maybe 5 hours per night), coupled with my physical exhaustion of my physical job, and living with a female, all adds up to leave me exhausted. The last thing I want to do at the end of the day is go use more energy I don’t have, when I feel like fainting I’m so exhausted, and there is still hours of work to be done.
But then again, none of this stuff matters, as I was REPLYING to the side-topics that people were getting into. I wasn’t going to simply reply with “That isn’t what I asked.” Maybe I should have, but I’m not a sand-filled vagina like that.
I honestly don’t feel like sitting here for another 45 minutes comparing posts and shit. But after all this many people went on to say that my habits were terrible, blah blah blah. Look, Im a relatively healthy guy that drinks a lot of soda. I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs, I don’t eat fried foods, I cook 3 times a week, and always make healthy things (usually Mediterranean). I eat salads. I take vitamins. I mean, I am probably above half of this forum right there, as far as diet and shit goes.
My whole reason for getting upset was a) I asked about B12. Not weight loss, not health, nothing else. b) I was getting backed into a corner that I didn’t expect, and I wasn’t about to just sit there and say “Oh, Ok” when it wasn’t all “Ok”.
I’m a sucker for a good argument. But my point was, is, and will continue to be, I just asked if anyone had taken fuckin B12.
I’d like to add one more thing… For someone that get’s a B12 shot, you should know that you can’t mainline it. It’s intramuscular.
Oh, P.S. If you'd look up, you'd see that all I did was ask everyone to relax. I always thought I was an edgy person, but damn...
