Awesome ass movie!

American Psycho reminds me of me, so anything similar to that movie I'll have to check out. I've been waiting for movies to hit bluray / DVD lately because I've been antisocial and I like smoking cigs during my movies.

I saw a few days ago before I saw this thread or had heard anything about it, so I had zero expectations going into it. When movies get a lot of hype, 9/10 times you're pretty much setting yourself up for a let down and the movie not meeting expectations. I thought it was pretty good to great (maybe like a 8). If I had gone into it thinking it was going to be awesome, I'd probably say it sucked / was overrated. Just the way it goes.

I heard a few whispers about it, heard she was fantastic, decided to not read or look at anything else. Took my husband he had never heard of it at all. We both thought it was great. He even more than me cause he really had no idea what we were sitting down to watch. Nate's right though, if you go in thinking it's going to be unbelievably phenomenal... nothing can live up to that.

Just go in knowing you're going to see a really good film, well made, with a good story line.

I am so watching this movie!

Men in tights do it for you, eh?

anyone ever seen Collapse? Its on netflix right now.
I don't really believe what the guy's talking about, but it still kind of blew my mind.

its a documentary but not boring at all

Plays out a bit like the horror film May meets Roman Polanski. It is hard to acurately describe but it is a wonderful piece of visual storytelling... if you can get past all the ballet. Found myself a little bored during the build up but it does wrap up very well at the end... over all, I approve.

If only someone that talented would make Phantom of the Opera... it would make me a very happy bunny :)
