Avg CTR for your arbi sites?

Why do people say YPN's CTR is lower than AdSense's? You should all know that YPN calculates its impressions differently than AdSense. AdSense shows "real" impressions (i.e., page loads). YPN doesn't go by page loads, so its impression count is always higher, yielding lower CTR, which is just an imaginary number.

If you have 100 visitors to a site, 30 clicks and 1,000 impressions, obviously YPN will say your CTR is 30/1000 instead of 30/100. You can take into account that some users will refresh their browsers, but YPN's impression data isn't as accurate as Google's. I think YPN goes by how many ads you show. So if you have 3 ads in one ad block, YPN will say that's 3 impressions per page load, which isn't accurate.

Some one correct me if I'm wrong on the details, but we all know that YPN's impression counts aren't accurate.

Does having such a high CTR raise any quality flags from Adsense?

I only have one arbitrage site now, and it's doing slightly better than breaking even, but my CTR on my best site is 19%, and that's a content site I do SEO on, not arbitrage.

It's a pretty simple template, logo and heading at the top, then three blocks of adsense wrapped around a chunk of text in a sideways U shape.

At this stage all I can be sure of is that I'm lucky, will need to do more testing before this template becomes anything conclusive.

Ted- just wondering which advertising network you are using, or are you using more than one?

Must be a nice niche - I've never had luck w/ more than one ad block b/c the ROI ends up being so low! I've also think many people immediately close a page if they see tons of ads- good work on that one though, I'd like to see if that works over many niches...
