I'm probably at about 45%.

I got one thats doing 85% avg, today it's @ 93. :rasta: Trying to figure out what my sites should be doing, but I know the 85 is high.

I agree that CTR is heavily related on niche, but I can also say that when I made a template change my CTR went up on the sites that already had a high CTR so don't stop experimenting. I'd say if you have above 50% you are golden, especially with a high volume of niches/sites.

My best site is around 90%(over 5 weeks).

The rest average around 60-70%.

I drop the worst performers pretty quick though and rework them which keeps the average up.

My Average is about 55%.
one of my friends had a CTR (for a couple of hours) of 120%. Seriously.

Yeah, I see over 100% regularly on a few of them. I assume tabbed browsing has really helped with this.

tabbed browser has nothing to do with it. If someone was savy enough to have firefox and use tabs they would know to push the back botton before they even got to your page.

I have a niche were the user clickthrough rate is about 1 in every 3 but they almost always click 2-5 ads at a time because of the wording in my content, something im working on.

Firefox and tabbed browsers have a large market penetration now. One which definitely includes those not considered computer savvy.

My CTR for my single arbi page is somewhere around 220%

I expect this to drop once I get some more pages up

It's a pretty simple template, logo and heading at the top, then three blocks of adsense wrapped around a chunk of text in a sideways U shape.

At this stage all I can be sure of is that I'm lucky, will need to do more testing before this template becomes anything conclusive.

interesting... however, from my experience more ad units = less ROI

so I prefer to have as little ads as possible, yet still get high CTR

Like I said this is just one page and it doesnt prove a concept, though from my sig you can see I'm getting a healthy ROI :D

Anybody who claims over 100% CTR doesn't get much impressions. You can get pretty accurate data after 1000 visitors, not before.
