Are you ready for some football???

Fuck yes to another year of Jay Cutler proving he's a TERRIBLE quarterback, and was like the worst trade ever. Yeah, go you Bears!

Packers going to do a lot of raping this year.

Fuck ya! It's officially September. Rage giving me shit about the Bears as usual :) I love this time of year.

the more i think about the giants, the more i realized how fucking stacked this team is.

their defensive line has absolutely absurd depth, each one of their top receivers (smith, manningham, nicks) could start on another team (and cruz/barden shouldn't be too bard either).

also at CB i definitely am happy with webster -- ross -- thomas, all 3 of those dudes are ballers (though ross has struggled as of late)

and at safety, im a huge fan of antrell rolle...and if kenny phillips is anywhere close to 100%...it's a wrap. he is an unreal athlete and football player and I really feel his potential is through the roof.

as long as they can play well and our coaching doesn't blow, there's no reason why they can't win the nfc east. the cowboys, redskins, and eagles can all blow me anyway.

We just need to stay healthy, which is easier said than done with this training staff. The amount of injuries is unreal.

LIONS BABY!!!! (shut up, we're building a solid team, you'll see)

actually, not gonna lie, the lions have a pretty good foundation right now.

calvin johnson is an absolute beast...it will be exciting to see what kind of numbers he can put up. I really feel like he could/should be putting up 1600yards/15 tds every year easy.

jahvid best (hopefully, i like him) should be pretty legit, and stafford is really good as well. his game against the browns last year sold me on him.

also your new DT (barring him literally ripping jake delhommes head off) is going to be ridiculous. i like him as well so i hope he has a monster season. not to mention you also have vanden bosch, and ernie sims is a pimp.

i'm not insanely familiar with the lions, but it seems like the biggest question mark on your team is the o-line and the defensive secondary...if those can get fixed up i think you'll have a really good team.

well hixons injury was kind of a fluke thing, and sinorice moss blows anyway, im not too worried about it. most of the injuries seem to be just kind of nicks and bruises...and aaron ross' foot thing...who else were you thinking of? i feel like i'm missing something.

though i do agree, it seems that every year the giants have one or two big injuries that mess things up. last year obviously was kenny phillips. i'm sooo pumped to see him play. i want to see him destroy someone.

Huge Lions fan here, and I'm just grateful knowing that the further we get from the "Matt Millen Years", the more they start to resemble a real NFL team. Lots of improvements across the board, but we're still another year from being able to compete in the playoffs. I'm seeing maybe 7-9 (hopefully better than the Bears at least). By the way, the secondary is definitely the biggest weakness, and Ernie Sims is in Philly now.

damn i guess i missed that whole ernie sims thing. i'm a little behind on my football knowledge right now...i was surprised tonight when i saw lito sheppard playing for the vikings. i had no idea what team he was on.

but yea, i think 7-9 isn't unrealistic.

I'm pretty much in total agreement with this. This year is when they learn that they have some major pieces in place and next year is when expectations should be put on them. The secondary is going to be brutal,b ut I think the O-line will surprise, that left guard spot is finally plugged. Rob Sims was a way under the radar pickup through trade. Stafford, Calvin Johnson and Jahvid Best will be household names very soon.
