arbi and banning

Interested about this to. Obviously having separate Adsense accounts is good but, not "feasible" for all of us. Does putting Arbi sites on one host and white hat sites on another help at all?
I imagine if it's the same adsense account it doesn't really matter, but I don't want my whitehat sites getting smartpriced to shit (seems like they are a bit)

get another adsense account... mabye ypn... get 25million impressions and get an overture feed.
if you are getting 2-3:1 and you have 2 adsense accounts and only lose one you still don't lose the ppc spend.

Play it safe for until you get your first check. Then bank that check until it becomes a monthly payment from google. I know that first check gap is horrible. Also email google when someone goes click happy just in case.
um, I don't worry about shit I can't control so I go balls to the wall. It will take you months of work to come close to my volume. I assure you google knows what I am doing and makes sure I am not violating there tos. the only thing I don't do is mess with the pics! I don't see much upside to them anyway! if you are doing less than $30k a month I would not worry about even being on there radar!
ditto... if you stay within TOS, well, duh, they won't ban you, but also, if you're a big spender on adwords, or high volume with adsense, they won't ban you. They're a public owned company, they have a responsibility to their stock holders to make money, and without you spending or earning big, they won't be doing that.
The problem with the "stay within the ToS" advice is that almost nobody doing arbi is strictly within the ToS. Most arbitrage includes minor violations of rules Google doesn't seem to enforce, hoping to fly under Google's radar and usually succeeding. Here are some specifics from the ToS:

I'm not trying to scare people away from arbi with this. Obviously tons of people are bending/breaking these little rules and Google doesn't seem to be banning them left and right. But the advice to "stay within the ToS" is not very useful at all because nobody's following the ToS to the letter anyway. It's all a matter of what G is and isn't enforcing.
I chose to do all my arbitrage with YPN instead of AdSense because my AdSense account is associated with my main white hat site for which I would be permanently screwed if arbi ever got me banned. I've put 2 years really hard work into that so I'm not taking any risks. Most people don't have anything that big at stake in the very unlikely event that Google smacks their arbi account, so it's worth the risk.

Just wondering what you meant by that - you mean violating the TOS w/ the pics by not using borders, etc. , or using pics scraped from wiki, etc?
btw- does google ban other accounts if they figure out that they are linked to your banned one? I have one for my LLC, but even if I created a new LLC or used myself, I would still be listed on the account...

It's a fucking gamble. You have to decide if the very high percentage ROI is worth the risk or not. If it is not worth the risk make some organic traffic sites and put the money in a savings account. If it is worth the risk, quit whining, minimize the risk and start making money. Head over to DP and search for "banned" in the adsense section to see what google is targetting the most and avoid doing that, and personally I wouldn't be using images for now. If your layout is good you don't need them anyways. Google's tos is so fucking vague that 99% of the adsense sites out there technically viloate it, but like I said minimize risk and if you get banned start a llc and move on or read Jon's blog about alternatives to adsense.
