anyone know if ur domain name is stored in ur prosper DB?

i just had a problem where my FTP was hacked w/ some gay ass java script, so i just deleted everyting on my FTP reformatted my comp and opened up a hostgator account.

but i still have my own prosper DB on my godaddy server, i can transfer it over to hostgator, but i changed domains .. so my tracking domain was myoriginalsite.com, now its mynewsite.com ... can i transfer my DB so all my shits in their? or am i better off creating a new one since i changed domains?

Normally with shared hosting, when you move , all your databases are prefix with your username. For example if I signed up for godaddy with a username of kb244, then all my databases would be prefixed with kb244_ , for example kb244_prosper.

But if I move to hostgator, and kb244 wasn't an option and they gave me kbeezie instead, then I would have to make sure to update the prosper config file, to point to kbeezie_prosper , instead of kb244_prosper.

On a VPS or Dedicated server this is rarely an issue, since if you're coming from a cpanel/whm based location to a cpanel/whm based server, you can simply do an account transfer which keeps everything intact.
 
i want to keep m data .. if i needed to lose it tho i could deal w/ it, but as long as its not a huge hassle to transfer dbs thats what im gunna do
