Anyone know a good Free Blog Host Script?

I am starting a website where I want the users to be able to create their own subdomain blogs (preferrably wordpress, but will look over others as well), and communicate on the blogs with their friends and family. Kind of like an online journal. It is a website I am doing for soldiers. I just need to find a good script for this project.

Anyone know a good free blog hosting script?

thanks nachoninja, looking it over now. looks like it might be what i need. a lot of customization though, but looks promising. anyone else with links to others?

edit: I got it installed, but when i tested the signup, it didnt work. it sent me the email, then went blank when i clicked the activation link in the email, but it shows that its there in the admin panel, and when i go to the link, it says this page cannot be displayed.

I tried getting it to work once and said fuck it, something with wild card DNS.... on the back burner for now

yea, i went into my account and did the * think with the DNS and now its saying "page unavailable" everytime i click it. Im trying one more install with it being SITE.com/NAMEHERE/ instead of the subdomain option.

i got it to work for SITE.com/BLOGNAME

now is the task of removing all WP design and fixing it up to work with the site design I created. OH BOY! lol
