anyone having weird conversion rates with grants

JustThink has been a pretty big partner with us for a while now (over a year), and with hundreds of affiliates across a handful of networks running as many as 6 of their campaigns, there is a lot of historical data that just isn't supporting widespread crazy volatility in conversions that has been described here (on any significant amount of traffic.) I've also had a number of discussions with our network partners to support this.

Not saying any partner is perfect, but this advertiser has been pretty good thus far at bonusing out for any technical issues that are discovered (downtime, breakage, etc.). Their goal is to keep you happy (and profitable), and indications tell me they want to be around in the CPA world long term and with a favorable reputation to affiliates. Progress is being made to get better, not worse with how we operate together.

So in the case of the JT Grant campaign for example, what I suggest is to share your findings directly with us (or to the network you are running these campaigns on) so we can try to figure this out together. There are a lot of variables that can account for up and downs on any given day. This will be more effective and helpful than just going on a rant.

Alrighty then! Thanks to everyone for all the feedback and support thus far, and all the best this year!

hmm.. i've seen similar drops but i've just rotated those offers out with alternates from either other networks or just straight-up other companies.... check out some of the ones on c2m, right now they're converting for me at least.

Stuff is still very volatile for me too. Not sure whats going on or if the 'tech' issue was resolved.

Still interested to see the answer to Bofu's question too.

I was getting 1 per day then it's been 0 for 7 days straight. A guy on #cakes IRC said the same has happened to him, although he gets more leads (usually) and uses PPC.

My point is that you're obviously not getting enough traffic to judge any real fluctuations in conversions.. And by the guy on #cakes "(usually)" getting more than 1 lead per day, I think it's safe to say the same for him.

To actually contribute something here though, anyone that's been running Google Cash for a decent amount of time knows that their S/U% has tanked since the offer first blew up.. but I haven't noticed any major decreases recently. I haven't ran any traffic to it for a little under two days though and I've already gotten multiple cookie leads today?

Just checked my stats today, and during a one hour period the conversions were 4x higher, compared to the hours before and after.

I don't know if this is Just Think laughing at me like "haha we're robbing you blind" or what but this is fucking ANNOYING.

Right I've just had this in from advalaint...

Over the past month, one of our advertisers had a coding issue on their confirmation page that resulted in multiple pixel fires getting progressively worse. There were instances where one click would get up to eight sales at random. This resulted in fluctuating conversion rates and discrepancies in tracking between the advertiser, networks and publishers – depending on which pixels fired multiple times more often. The advertiser has paid on all duplicate fires on Advaliant, resulting in a lot of extra money paid to publishers.

This issue has been fixed and the campaigns are tracking single pixel fires only again. We apologize for any inconvenience, and want to make sure you are aware of why you were seeing such odd reporting numbers recently.

Hopefully, this can stop things being so volatile / crazy.

If this is true though, the CR should be worse than before, just more stable :-p

Not sure if that's so great.

why can't I find the "Grants For You Now" offer anywhere? has it been temporarily suspended?
