All advice, musings, info appreciated.

Stuff I'm researching but have no idea about yet:
  • A good bid price
  • Frequency cap
  • Max daily expenditure
  • How much content on my landing page

Still working on my SEO project but I want to have that and at least a campaign or two running.
 


Post more details about niche/offer/traffic source (or some combination there of) if you want more specific help.
 
What you want to do is start out with CPC and once you have a few good ads (meaning a CTR above 0.1%) you can move those over to CPM. Then just bid what you are comfortable with and what gets you the amount of traffic your looking for.

  • Frequency cap - I start it at 5 and adjust depending on my CTR, if my CTR is high, I increase the frequency cap because I am willing to sacrifice a lower CTR in order to increase the times my ad is shown
  • Max daily expenditure - whatever you want
  • How much content on my landing page - There is not right or wrong answer here. Start testing your lps by spending money, if people arent clicking through your LP to the offer, then something needs to be changed.
