Anyone have a Safe?

Good to know. I've been lugging one of these around for about ten years every time I move because I lost the key a long time ago. Can't even remember what's in the fucking thing, to be honest. Now I'm all psyched up about taking a screwdriver to it. Never thought to try that.

Every new place in the urbanizations here in Spain is built with a safe in the brick and concrete walls. It would take some serious demolition to get it out of there.

Not too big, 1 shelf, maybe 1' wide x 8" high x 6" deep. Perfect for exactly what you are talking about and the kind of thing you could mount in the space in any wall. I like the behind a painting deal.

That or a safety deposit box.

For keeping data you could consider burning an encrypted dvd and giving it to a trusted friend or family member too.

I just use my gun cabinet.
It's fire resistant, bolted to the floor, has a combination lock, and sadly no longer has a gun in it.

grrr, scum, guess if it's 400 kg (880 lbs.) it's still not really safe.

I've got a safe deposit box at my bank and that's where I keep that stuff. I got the fee waived with a preferred checking account that I have.

I got this crappy one from staples for 40$, supposed to be fire safe but I bet it's going to be the first thing that burns.. Lol

I got it for 20 and see it 20 most places these days. My 3 year old son broke it open easily.
