Anybody Here Use Pligg?

Pligg is an opensource digg clone. Anybody used it? I just installed it on one of my servers and was wondering what experiences you guys have had. It seems to be running a little slow for me.

I installed it and tried to get a site jump started, but it didn't take. I just left it as it was.

^^^I found the same problems. Its a good script, but they wrote it fucking weird.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks changing the template is a pain. I'll probably just hire someone to do it for me.

So has anyone actually been able to build a community around pligg? Digg works because diggers are tech savvy enough to know what they are doing... do you think I could build active pligg communities around other niches? I'm thinking about linking them up with forums.

The templating is in fact a pain in the ass.
They didn't bother to seperate the templating code from the rest of the bitch, so it sux to upgrade as well.

Yeah, that's what I hear. I haven't seen 1 good free pligg design. In my experience it's a little slow.
