anybody else in bangkok?

I would Like to think of myself as anon tax, since I honestly don't have a freaking clue where to pay them since I rarely stay in one place for more then 5-6 months...

So you aren't paying income taxes, no permanent resident of 1 country? I've thought about doing something like that, just staying at one place for a couple of months at a time.

But I've heard of a couple of problems. It's supposedly almost impossible to get a liability insurance among other things. Your experiences? Thanks.

yeah I have basically been doing it the last 1 1/5, and since the IRS have been so lovely and forgot to send any reports to the Swedish tax authority's about Swedes who signed W-9 waivers to not pay tax since 2004 so o I feel quite comfortable about it. I have always had my official adress in Sweden still so so I collect some important mail there and get i forwarded to wherever I am.

I dont know about insurance at all, the only insurance I have is trough my family back home and my Swedish bank has travel insurance to cover me.

Lok there is always a flip side to things, and living life like this has its downside as well. Im a strictly all cash man the last fwe years and its working fine but I could see how it could cause problem when it come to building credits scores and so on amongst a lot of things.

I never ever sign acontract that I cant get out of in 30 days or sooner, like this tim when I bolted down to thailand. I was in London decided I wanted to go on the 10th sent my passport away for Visa got it back the 16 got my ticket for the 22nd.

But that means that my life is in a suitcase and Laptop bag, it getting a bit tiring after a few years on the road like that but I still like it a bit.

Why is everyone moving to Thailand?

I have theory about that. I worked with a sales manager selling ASICs and storage to OEMs. He said you could always tell a company that was on the rise by how hot the receptionists were. In old, tired and declining companies the receptionists were old and tired looking. In new, hot and upcoming companies the receptionists were hot looking. My theory is that the same concept can be applied to entire countries. Hence, Thailand.

yeah but how can we be so sure they don't have dicks either?

That is all the excitement when you pull,,,

Micha, who do you bank with and how do you carry cash around?

One small Swedish bank from my hometown that I receive wires to with aff commission and Norwegian one that I send all checks to.

I just recently open and HSBC in London when I was there where I'm now withdrawing Paypal to...

Was thinking about setting up a proper merchant account in HK later this year, mostly to make my income abit more clear and not that messy with all the payments. Since income earned outside of HK is tax free :)
