I am still very new to seo but I have a friend who is selling themes for android phones. He is making decent money off of it only after 2 months. Does anyone have any ideas on how to increase traffic to his site?

I started my seo efforts through blogging so my only guess would be to blog about it, keyword research, social bookmarking...etc

Getting powerful authority Wiki and EDU Backlinks can be a good help to push his keywords higher in the rankings. Blog Posting is a good method but mix it up as much as possible. Link variety is good.

get better keywords with lower competition and promote your site to other sites that carry some sort of authority in PR

Is it something that people think is cool and recommend to their friends? If so, you should definitely consider a social approach. I would say forget about SEO for the time being. For example start with a Facebook fan page.

Build link from well authorized,quality, niche related, Real PR domains.

Diversify the link from various sources like social bookmarking, blog comments on high traffic websites (No follow), Article directories, Profile links, Web 2.0 , Directory Listing , Niche forums, gov . edu links etc.

Try to Earn social signals for your site (facebook likes, Twitter , Pinterest)
