I have loads of grunt work I need done (basic mods to programs, simple tools, installs, one or two line fixes, etc.) that don't require an expert programmer to do them.

Any recommendations?

Script2Please looks good but I've heard quite a few complaints.

Not sure if you're in Los Angeles or Louisiana, but when I find myself in your situation, I usually call a local headhunter or use Dice.com to get a contract worker for a few weeks. Lots of really good devs out there who are unemployed and willing to work for $20/hour just to fill in a gap. Craigslist jobs boards are also a place I've found success, just make sure they're not gonna murder you if you go the CL route!

Los Angeles should be flush with workers, not sure about Louisiana.
