I have been in affiliate industry for over 5 years now but never had a chance to attend any of the aff summits/conferences/expo. I am currently based in India and singapore. Its not that i can't afford to travel to US/EU but i would rather prefer local affiliate events. am most likely going for the Adexpo@london in october. Always wonder why there isn't any action in asia? Is it about time we launch affiliate summit in asia?

I've got "Asian" traffic... and given the same amount of work I'd rather push US offers.
My affiliate manager at Lucky Pacific is virtually non-accessible... he never answer emails, and sure, I could've picked up the phone but I can't be arsed, really.

agreed that they aint any good aff networks in asia but am sure there are bunch of super affiliates in asia who can rake in $$$. I make all my money working with US aff networks, i guess most of us do the same. but as an affiliate, i would love to have a meetup to discuss and share ideas in asia. a large event is obviously what we are missing. We should have an event in singapore/HK/Japan or korea

How does one get legit asian traffic (non-porn, non-warez) when the marketer doesn't speak the country's language? Most ad 'networks' there don't really deal with foreigners unless you are a big corp and often charge ridiculous amount for their impressions. (10$CPM+ for chinese imps.)

lol. I joined the meetup202 singapore group but seems like the last event was in 2009. Shit! that sucks and pretty much shows how disorganised the group is. Its about time we should launch a new one and keep dickheads outta that group lol
