It's not the responsible ones that I would worry about. And your girl in the video got attacked assassins creed style - doubt she seriously could have pulled a gun out to prevent it.

Whether you think she could have used her weapon or not is irrelevant. She was properly licensed but denied the use of her weapon by draconian policies and as a result was brutally raped. There is not a single logical reason why she shouldn't have been able to have her weapon with her.

And to the both of you - Implying that a CWP is acceptable on campus also implies that it would be allowed in dorms and apartments on campus. I've seen plenty of drunk college kids lose their minds. All it would take is some raging drunk shit to take his roommates weapon and go wild one night.

You make the assumption that a person is going to turn 21, pass all the requirements and background checks, get the CWP....and then become an mindless idiot getting smashed, waving their gun around, and leaving it out in the open for all to have access to.

I see your point and I don't strongly disagree. I just have the impression that if guns were allowed, it would become somewhat of a safety standard (as in you have to have one to be safe on campus)...or even a fad.
