It's the same reason that hot chicks go for rich guys, but instead of AM's looking for an easy buck, it's the company pimping them out in the reverse mindset to draw more nerds in (yeah, I went there :p ).

Networks know affiliates are more likely to do more business with them if they want to try and impress their AM.

There are one or 2 exceptions that I know and love to work with because they know their shit. Most of the female AM's that I asked to be switched from tried to make up their mistakes by flirting with me, which is just plain dumb (but apparently works good enough for some). If I wanna hit or get hit on, I go out or call a few numbers in my phonebook. I'm in this to make money, not get pussy.

But lets be honest here, it really helps having a hot girl on the network who gets all AFC affiliates to run some traffic through the network because she keeps playing affiliates at conferences and online.

But lets be even more honest here: IMO there are maybe 2 am's that I'd rate 9/10+
 
I seem to always get some skinny hipster guy with a jewfro. It's like the same guy at every network too; like Shaggy from "Scooby Doo" has a younger brother who at least manages to hold down a job while Norville is out roadtripping around the country with that dog of his. What am I doing wrong?
