Totally insane. You have to literally be glued to your stats screen and be prepared to shut everything off. If the Advertiser begins to suddenly shave, or some weird anomaly hits, you can get really screwed.

i went from doing 200% ROI in the summer to about the same as OP. and i have to agree with Roundabout, I'm practically glued to my stats all day. One small change/fuckup/getting screwed over in the ad-->merchant page process I could be in the red. (which has happened)

You didn't exactly elaborate on any of the methods of paid traffic you utilized. But let's put it this way: I can only swim so much in a pool. There are borders within the pool that hold all of the water in. In essence, what you are trying to do is add more water. All that does is overflow onto the ground, then when you go to swim in it again, it spills out even more...but that doesn't help you one bit.
Likewise, dumping your money into a 'pool' does not necessarily give you the return you are looking for. Unless of course, you built this pool and know exactly how it runs; in which case you wouldn't be coming here whining about a ROI that is not as ideal as you want it to be.

I would guess then that you understand your buyers enough to get them to buy, but what are you doing with all of the people who buy? What are you doing to make them buy again? How can you make others notice you too, so that they too buy?
How far are you really taking this? It can't be that far, if your money is not doubled yet...especially if you have been doing this for some time. Be careful that you don't run your resources dry either, as that can easily happen.

But then again, if you are spending $4000, each day, but only make $4800...that only leaves you with 800 per day....which even still is $292, 000 per year if consistent.
